A Ruby’s Inn wrangler-guided horseback ride will provide you with a different perspective of Bryce Canyon area scenery, making your trip more memorable and exciting – as if you stepped back in time to the Old West. On your horseback tour, you will cover territory where notorious outlaws like Butch Cassidy roamed while listening to interesting narration about the area’s history, geology and folklore from one of our experienced guides.

utah horseback tree's Ruby’s Inn provides several southern Utah horseback tours include a full-day ride, a half-day ride, a 1.5-hour ride and our popular Thunder Mountain Ride. Following the Thunder Mountain Trail through the length of Red Canyon, the ride traverses narrow backbones and memorable switchbacks that provide breathtaking views of red rock pinnacles, fins and spires. Available April through October and not recommended for first-time riders, Thunder Mountain rides leave daily at 8:30 a.m. In the summertime, a second tour departs at 1:30 p.m.
